The Gardens of Cranesbury View has been open for 10 years now. The location originally had nothing on it but long horns and cedar trees. It was wonderful creating a venue that came with years of thought and experience. Our venue is set in 32 acres of hill country that offer large oak trees, fountains and three acres of enchanting European gardens. We wanted to create something very unique and different from the Texas hill country look. Guests are not expecting to see such formal, sculptured gardens, so it is fun to see their delight as they walk through and look around. The Gardens of Cranesbury View really is a little piece of Europe set here in New Braunfels, which is perfect since New Braunfels is a town of German descent. With such a quaint venue, guests do feel like they have stepped out of Texas and into a European experience. With some of the hedges pruned formally sitting eight feet tall, along with over 100 roses down the driveway, our spectacular venue offers a very elegant and peaceful feeling.
For me, God really put the passion in my heart to start a venue back in my senior year in college, which is when I wrote my business plan. It really does go that far back!! I have always enjoyed European gardens, and I studied the Gardens of Versailles in college which actually became my inspiration for The Gardens of Cranesbury View. I have been involved with weddings for 29 years, and I love every aspect of the business, but mostly, I love the interactions with the couples and their families. Flowers have always been a love for me as well, so being able to help my couples with their flower needs is a bonus. I grew up in California and attended Cal Poly State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, then moved to Texas with a promotion while working with Monrovia Nursery Company, and I have loved living in Texas for the last 22 years! I am extremely grateful to work with such a wonderful, passionate team who enjoys this work as much as I do, and I am honored by my brides and grooms who allow me to host the most important day of their lives at The Gardens of Cranesbury View.

I try to picture this day without you and I find it impossible. You truly have made this into my fairy tale. Your continuous excitement, attention to details, and eagerness to get me what I wanted - changed you from a "vendor" to a treasured blessing. Thank you truly is too small a word.
