Jennifer & Justin’s 1920’s garden wedding at The Gardens of Cranesbury View!

We are still oohing and ahhing over Jennifer & Justin’s 1920’s garden wedding at The Gardens of Cranesbury View! From the Great Gatsby themed table numbers to the candelabra centerpieces strung with pearls, the outdoor, Texas hill country ceremony and the elegant, indoor reception were absolutely beautiful. *Straughan Photography* did an exceptional job of providing great coverage of Jennifer & Justin’s roaring 20’s style wedding.

It’s not every day that you see a classic, 1920’s Ford Model T, or even better, get to take a picture with one! Jennifer & Justin went above and beyond by providing this car from the era for some authentic 20’s photo opportunities for themselves and their guests. It was parked in front of The Gardens on Cranesbury View at the mouth of the getaway car driveway, which is lined with rows and rows of hot pink roses.

We are loving the trend of calla lily bouquets! Jennifer walked down the aisle with long stemmed calla lilies, hand tied in lace while her bridesmaids carried very simple yet elegant short stemmed calla lily bouquets. We have to thank Diana Jackson of *Bella Boutique* for creating such beautiful florals. Jennifer chose not to have any flowers on her cake, but instead decorated it with elegant jewels and a large, stunning feather! We love Serendipity Cakes and the delicious works of art they create for our brides and grooms.

While roaming the garden parties of the 1920’s, one might stumble upon posters advertising live music by Duke Ellington and his orchestra, or signs warning of the National Prohibition Act. This did not stop Jennifer & Justin’s guests from stopping at the bar, provided by *BarMasters TX*, and sipping cocktails out of 1920’s saucer champagne glasses. With floor length easel’s toting pictures from the era, and a roaring 20’s phonograph with a tin horn, the style and detail of this wedding were more than enough to make you feel like you traveled back in time.

Many of the guests showed off their flapper dresses and chunky pearl necklaces, while the bridesmaids sported vintage headbands and jeweled feather shaped head pieces. Justin and his fellow marines were looking dashing in full uniform. As Jennifer and Justin were presented into our old English styled ballroom, 6 men in uniform lined up at the entrance of the wooden doors and presented their sabers to create a cool, military entrance.

And what Prohibition party would be complete without some extra sparkle? Jennifer and Justin were sent off beautifully with 2 full minutes of fireworks, which was a truly spectacular way to end the night. Thank you again to all the vendors who helped make such a beautiful couple’s special day perfect.
